**Job Title:** Material Handler
**Location:** Mount Vernon, OH
**Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (40 hours/week)
**Pay Rate:** $17.50/hour
**Job Summary:**
Mancan is seeking an experienced and highly organized Material Handler to join our team in Mount Vernon, OH. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient movement and organization of finished goods within our facility. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in material handling and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Promptly remove finished goods from the conveyor line.
- Organize and stage finished products in designated storage areas.
- Palletize finished goods to ensure safe and secure stacking.
- Apply stretch wrap and/or hand banding to prepare products for storage or shipment.
- Operate forklifts with a 5,000 lb capacity to transport materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a material handler, warehouse, or similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in operating 5,000 lb capacity forklifts; certification preferred.
- Ability to lift, move, and stack materials consistently throughout the shift.
- Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
