Mancan Staffing Medina is looking for Mig Welders. Since 1994 this company has been in business. This company is looking to bring aboard Welders and Fabricator to their Medina, OH warehouse. This position is 1st shift. $21-30+ dependent upon experience
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Determines project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, and required methods and materials, according to blueprints, drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
• Lays out, measures, and marks dimensions and reference lines on material, according to drawings or templates.
• Sets up and operates fabricating machines to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, burn or otherwise form and assemble metal components.
• Lays out and examines metal stock or work pieces to be processed to ensure that specifications are met.
• Preheats work pieces to make them malleable, using hand torches.
• Fastens seams or joints together through welding components into products or to repair sheet metal items.
• Drills and punches holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets.
• Maintains equipment, making repairs or modifications when necessary.
• Track and record labor hours associated with each job.
• Load fabricated products onto a truck for shipping.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read, write and perform basic math,
MIG welding background
*Welding Cert. Required
High school diploma or GED.
