Mancan Staffing is assisting a Cuyahoga Falls manufacturing company in hiring experienced, mechanically inclined Assemblers. If you have strong attention to detail, and hands-on assembly skills, we want to hear from you!
$18/hr 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certification or degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience assembling welded metal structures and working with light electrical components.
• Ability to interpret basic technical specifications.
• Proficient with hand tools and machinery.
• Solid understanding of quality control practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 points.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Assembly & Production:
• Assemble caddies and build various types of motors.
• Perform basic electrical work including the installation of lights, switches, and sensors.
• Conduct basic quality tests to ensure proper functionality of all components.
• Inspect, clean, and apply grease to newly assembled caddies.
• Perform simple welding tasks for accessories.
• Assemble and spot weld oil tanks.
• Install related accessories such as hoses, wiring harnesses, and similar components.
2. General Warehouse Duties:
• Load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Operate a tow motor (forklift) safely.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area by sweeping, mopping, and using a floor scrubber as needed.
3. Shipping & Receiving:
• Pick parts according to orders.
• Pack parts securely and prepare them for shipment.
• Prepare LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments for delivery.
