Position Overview:
Mancan is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Machine Operators, Line Attendants, Assembly & Inspection Workers, or Packers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, efficient assembly processes, meticulous inspection, and accurate packing of products.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation:
Operate various machinery and equipment according to established guidelines and procedures.
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal output and quality.
Troubleshoot and address minor issues to prevent production interruptions.
Line Attending:
Maintain the production line by loading raw materials, monitoring equipment, and facilitating smooth material flow. Perform quality checks at designated intervals to identify defects or inconsistencies. Collaborate with machine operators to address any operational issues promptly.
Assembly & Inspection:
Assemble components and parts to create finished products according to blueprints or instructions. Conduct visual and functional inspections of assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify and report any defects or deviations from specifications.
Packing:
Pack finished products into appropriate containers or packaging materials, ensuring proper labeling and organization. Operate packing equipment and machinery to streamline the packing process. Maintain accurate records of packed items and quantities for inventory purposes.
Qualifications:
Successful completion of a math test to demonstrate basic mathematical skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting minor issues.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Previous experience in machine operation, assembly, inspection, or packing is a plus but not mandatory.
Adherence to safety guidelines and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Rate of pay: $17.00/hr
This trains on 1st Shift 8am-4pm. Must be willing to work 3rd shift once trained! Orientation on day one is at 9am & will last approximately 2-3 hours (paid).
