In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing industrial control panels that power various electrical systems. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Assemble control panels based on specifications and wiring diagrams
- Install electrical components such as relays, switches, and circuit breakers
- Wire control panels using industry best practices and safety standards
- Test and troubleshoot control panels to ensure functionality
- Collaborate with engineers and fellow technicians to maintain high-quality standards
- Keep accurate documentation of work performed for future reference
**Required Skills & Experience:**
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for assembly and wiring
- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring principles and techniques
- Ability to fabricate parts and components as necessary
- In-depth understanding of how control panels integrate with larger systems
- Ability to read and interpret detailed electrical schematics and engineering diagrams
- Familiarity with various control panel components, including relays, switches, and circuit breakers
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous experience in control panel assembly or a related field is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
**Compensation & Benefits:**
- Pay Range: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
- Full-time position with an expected 40-hour workweek
- Benefits include:
