Hope Company is in search of a Customer Service Representative to join their team and provide excellent service to their valued customers. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position! This is NOT a remote position. Work is done in-office every day.
The ideal candidate will possess great phone skills, attention to detail, and some experience working with MS Excel. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining efficient office operations.
Job Duties:
- Utilize MS Excel to manage and organize customer-related data, orders, and other relevant information.
- Accurately enter customer data, orders, and inquiries into the company database.
- Handle incoming calls from customers, address their inquiries, and provide information about products, services, and policies.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files, ensuring easy retrieval of important documents.
- Assist with document reproduction and distribution as required.
- Be prepared to undertake additional tasks as directed to support the smooth functioning of the customer service department and overall business operations.
Qualifications:
- Some prior experience working with MS Excel is required. Knowledge of basic spreadsheet functions and data entry is essential.
- Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen attentively and respond professionally to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and efficient customer service.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to meet customer needs and deadlines.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to handle customer issues and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals and maintain a positive work environment.

The hours are Monday-Friday 8a-5pm. Pay is $15-$16 per hour based on experience. Once hired permanently, pay increases to $16.50.
