**Warehouse Material Handler – Smithville, Ohio*
**Position Overview:**
As a Warehouse Material Handler, you’ll play a key role in supporting our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for managing product flow, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the smooth shipment of goods. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys staying active, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Order Fulfillment:** Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring they meet accuracy and quality standards.
- **Receiving & Stocking:** Process incoming shipments, inspect products for damage, and stock them in their proper locations, utilizing warehouse management systems for accurate record-keeping.
- **Equipment Operation:** Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, scales, and pallet wrapping machines to manage warehouse tasks.
- **Material Handling:** Unload and load materials from trucks and containers in a timely and efficient manner.
- **Inventory Management:** Conduct regular inventory checks, assist in managing stock levels, and ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
- **Warehouse Organization:** Help maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout to optimize workflow and product accessibility.
- **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines, especially during peak periods, and contribute to the achievement of operational goals.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role is preferred.
- Knowledge of materials handling best practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active (standing, walking, and moving) for extended periods.
- A positive attitude, strong reliability, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow.
