Job Title: Printing Press Operator
Key Responsibilities:
Press Setup & Operation: They prepare and operate various printing machines—like digital, letterpress, lithographic, flexographic, or gravure presses—to produce printed materials such as books, brochures, catalogs, and packaging materials. Must have previous Graphic Design Experience
Quality Control: Throughout the printing process, they monitor outputs to ensure alignment, color accuracy, and clarity meet quality standards.
Troubleshooting: When issues like paper jams or equipment malfunctions arise, they diagnose and resolve them promptly to keep the presses running smoothly.
Maintenance: Regular upkeep, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, ensures the longevity and optimal performance of the presses.
Skills & Qualifications:
Mechanical Aptitude: A knack for understanding and working with machinery is crucial.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring print quality requires a keen eye for detail.
Physical Stamina: The role often involves standing for extended periods and handling materials, so good physical condition is beneficial.
Educational Background: Typically, a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with on-the-job training provided
Work Schedule and Compensation:
Full-time position Monday- Friday 8am-5pm.
Pay Rate is based on experience at $15-$20 an hour
