Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Job Summary:
Mancan has partnered with a company in Sunbury that is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with an electrical background to join their team. This role primarily focuses on machine repair within the plant and will work alongside another maintenance professional to ensure proper training and a smooth transition into independent work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production and facility equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines and facility maintenance systems to support business goals.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on machine reliability and lean manufacturing.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance, including documentation and managing repair part inventory.
• Perform corrective maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Report unsafe conditions or substandard machine performance to supervisors.
• Utilize systematic troubleshooting techniques to diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Refer to equipment manuals, work orders, and procedural documents to ensure proper operation.
Key Knowledge and Abilities:
• Familiarity with Limble or other CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Strong understanding of basic electrical components and ability to interpret electrical schematics.
• Advanced electrical troubleshooting, including:
o Understanding AC vs. DC systems and their components.
o Using test equipment such as multimeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes.
o Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and ladder logic circuits.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment systematically using methods like the 7-step troubleshooting process.
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to differentiate between electrical and mechanical faults in hybrid systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent education and production maintenance experience.
• Facilities maintenance or Electrician Certificate preferred.
• RPPO collateral duty or similar experience is a plus.
