Mancan Staffing, known for its excellence in linking prospective candidates with distinguished employers, is thrilled to announce a partnership with a reputable warehouse in Charleston, WV that is in search of a skilled and motivated general laborer to join their dynamic team and have the capability of learning basic welding.
This position starts at $15/hour . This is a full time, 1st shift position 730am-4pm.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Position Overview:
As a warehouse associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the warehouse operations. Your skills with basic hand tools and your ability to read tape measures will contribute to the efficiency and success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in various tasks within the warehouse, including loading, unloading and stacking.
Use basic hand tools to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Read and interpret measurements on tape measures for precise work.
Simple mig welding on metal doors and frames
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Previous experience using basic hand tools.
Proficiency in reading and understanding measurements on tape measures.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift and move objects of various sizes (within safety guidelines).
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Previous experience in forklift operation.
