Job Title: 🚜 Forklift Technician
Location: 📍 Grand River
Shift: 🕕 Monday-Thursday, 6am-4pm
Pay:💰 $15.00/hr to $28.00/hr based on experience
Position Summary:
A nationwide distributor of pre-owned and off-lease material handling equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and pallet jacks, is seeking entry-level or skilled forklift technicians at their Grand River facility. Material handling involves short-distance movement within and between buildings and transportation vehicles, utilizing a range of manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment. This role includes the protection, storage, and control of materials throughout manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, consumption, and disposal processes.
Responsibilities:
- 🛠️ Diagnose and repair various types of material handling equipment.
- 📋 Follow basic standard operating procedures.
- ⚠️ Observe all safety rules and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- 🧰 Mechanical aptitude.
- 🚜 Previous forklift or heavy equipment experience preferred.
- 🔧 Diesel experience is a plus.*Additional Information:
