Shift: 🕕 1st Shift (Monday-Thursday, 6am-4pm)
Pay: 💰 $15.00/hr to $28.00/hr based on experience
Position Summary:
A nationwide distributor of pre-owned and off-lease material handling equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and pallet jacks, is seeking entry-level or skilled painters at their Grand River facility. Material handling involves short-distance movement within and between buildings and transportation vehicles, utilizing a range of manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment. This role includes the protection, storage, and control of materials throughout manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, consumption, and disposal processes.
Responsibilities:
- 🖌️ Perform surface preparation and painting on various types of material handling equipment.
- 📋 Follow basic standard operating procedures.
- ⚠️ Observe all safety rules and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- 🔧 Basic knowledge of surface preparation (grinding, Bondo application, sanding, etc.) and painting.
- 👍 Great attitude and willingness to learn.
- 🎨 Previous painting experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
