Mancan is assisting a local Massillon company in their search for a 2nd Shift Die Cast- Manager. MUST have Die Cast experience!! This position requires hands-on operation of horizontal hydraulic injection presses, as well as material handling and some manual feeding of materials. The work environment is very hot, and candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, repetitive setting. Parts range from 5 to 8 lbs, with a daily production of approximately 500 units.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and supervise die-casting production operations
• Operate horizontal hydraulic injection presses (not vertical stamping presses)
• Handle materials and perform manual feeding tasks as required
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures
• Maintain excellent attendance and demonstrate a strong work ethic
• Lead by example in a repetitive, physically demanding work environment
Requirements:
• Previous die-casting experience required
• Experience in a production supervisor role is a must
• Ability to work in a hot environment and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production goals
• Must have excellent attendance and a positive attitude
