Mancan has teamed up with a company located in Walnut Creek looking for housekeepers. This is a temp to hire position. Full time and part time positions are available. Must be available to work weekends. Hours vary based on the needs of the business.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained to provide a comfortable and pleasant environment for our guests.
Job Duties:
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a tidy and presentable appearance.
- Sanitize and clean toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Make beds and change linens to offer fresh and comfortable accommodations for guests.
- Vacuum and clean carpets and rugs, as well as sweep, polish, and mop hard floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Utilize cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other tools effectively and safely.
- Ensure that bathrooms are stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other necessary supplies.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and report when reordering is necessary.
- Report any necessary repairs or replacements to maintenance.
- Be flexible and ready to take on additional tasks as assigned to support the team and ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Possess a keen eye for detail to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
- Demonstrate a strong dedication to providing excellent customer service to guests.
- Familiarity with the local area is a plus to assist guests with their inquiries and provide helpful information.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays, as this is essential for hospitality operations.
- Work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Possess strong communication skills to interact with coworkers and the public.
- Hotel housekeeping experience required.
- Capable of lifting up to 40lbs for handling linens and other items.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
- Physically capable of bending, stooping, reaching, and kneeling for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
