Are you an experienced Residential Basement New Construction Excavation Operator looking for a fantastic opportunity? We have a company looking to Direct Hire a skilled operator to join their team. If you have experience with heavy equipment and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you! Average 40-55 hours per week. Start time is 6:15 am Monday – Saturday. Year-round work. Position pays $28-35 an hour based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently performs all required tasks and work proactively.
Exhibit proficiency and job knowledge in all phases of excavation work and actively work to build new, advanced skills.
Read and interpret blueprints or designs to understand the scope and requirements of the job.
Understand the layout of a jobsite and perform minor layout tasks.
Work closely with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to specification.
Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site is safe, well maintained, clean, and organized.
Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company’s operating safety policies and procedures to ensure the job site is maintained in a safe and orderly working environment.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of the equipment to ensure its safe and efficient operation.
Ability to handle, carry, and maneuver various items around the jobsite– some weighing up to 100 pounds.
Ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely, adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety protocols.
Assist leading others with direction of daily workflow and tasks and mentor newer employees.
Possesses and applies knowledge of best practices to produce high quality finished product in all weather conditions.
Demonstrate and carry out problem solving skills associated with an advanced level of excavation work.
Attend company meetings and training as required.
Follow and adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements:
✔️ 1 year experience as an excavation or heavy equipment operator
✔️ Clear Background and Drug Test
✔️ Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
✔️ Strong teamwork and communication skills
