Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Press Operator - Plastics Molding Company you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the efficient operation of plastic molding presses and maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Operate plastic molding presses and related equipment in accordance with established guidelines and safety protocols.
Monitor press operation to ensure smooth production flow and optimal output.
Perform mold changes, setup, and adjustments to achieve desired product specifications.
Inspect and assess product quality during production runs, making necessary adjustments as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
Follow established procedures for material handling, loading, and unloading of molds.
Collaborate with the production team to meet production quotas and deadlines.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Report any safety concerns, equipment malfunctions, or quality deviations to supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a press operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Familiarity with plastics molding processes is a plus.
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
Adherence to safety protocols and practices.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
Full-time position with a 10pm-630am Sun-Thurs schedule
Pay rate - $14.25 hour.
