We are seeking a skilled **AutoCAD Drafter** to join our team and support our design and engineering efforts.
**Job Description:**
As an AutoCAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and revise technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using AutoCAD.
- Interpret and apply engineering and architectural specifications to drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy.
- Modify and update existing drawings based on project changes and client feedback.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company guidelines.
- Maintain organized records of drawings and project documentation.
- Assist in preparing project documentation and reports as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with other CAD software is a plus).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in drafting or a related role (entry-level candidates with strong AutoCAD skills may be considered).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as Revit, SolidWorks, or SketchUp.
- Understanding of building codes and permitting processes.
