Wood Worker

Mancan Norwalk is seeking wood workers and general labors for a local client. Positions are temp to hire within 90 days, pay will be $17-20 based on experience. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities
• Perform general woodshop duties, including cutting, sanding, and assembling wood components
• Operate and maintain woodworking tools such as table saws, routers, planers, and drills
• Ensure accuracy and precision in all production tasks
• Assist with staining, finishing, and other wood treatment processes
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow all safety protocols and shop guidelines
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
• Basic woodworking experience, including the use of power tools and hand tools
• Proficiency in operating table saws, routers, planers, and other shop equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality work
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn additional skills such as spraying finishes and CNC operation
