Production Worker

Mancan is seeking skilled and reliable Production Workers for a metal fabrication facility in Canonsburg, PA. As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in operating machines and contributing to the manufacturing process. This job has an alternating weekly schedule between 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM) and 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM). The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $19.00. This is a direct hire position at a union facility.
Responsibilities:
1. Machine Operation: Operate various machines and equipment for metal fabrication, ensuring efficient and safe production processes.
2. Quality Assurance: Inspect products for defects, ensuring they meet the required quality standards and making necessary adjustments when needed.
3. Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials and finished products using appropriate tools and equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
4. Production Support: Assist in setting up machinery, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting minor issues to keep the production process running smoothly.
5. Adherence to Safety Guidelines: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize workplace hazards and promote a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
6. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production records, including work completed, quantities produced, and any relevant data required for reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
1. Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication is preferred. Candidates with relevant experience will be given preference.
2. Mechanical Aptitude: Possess a basic understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to operate various machinery.
3. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, lift, and carry materials or products for extended periods.
4. Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality products are produced consistently.
