Job Title: MIG Welder - Rubber Door Shop
Location: Niles
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16 - $18 per hour (depending on skill level)
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team in the Rubber Door Shop at a local Niles facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in reading blueprints, MIG welding, and a basic understanding of stick welding. Proficiency in plasma cutting is a plus. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Perform MIG welding to fabricate metal components.
- Utilize stick welding techniques as needed.
- Operate plasma cutting equipment for precision cutting of metal materials.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in MIG welding and metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Basic knowledge of stick welding preferred.
- Plasma cutting experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass a drug screening as part of the hiring process.
