**Job Title:** CNC Programmer
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs to ensure efficient and precise production of parts and components. This role requires expertise in programming, knowledge of machining processes, and a strong ability to troubleshoot issues.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Program Creation:**
- Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software for milling, turning, or multi-axis machining centers.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs to create accurate programs.
2. **Setup and Testing:**
- Collaborate with machinists to set up machines and test new programs.
- Ensure programs run smoothly by adjusting speeds, feeds, and tooling as needed.
3. **Troubleshooting and Optimization:**
- Identify and resolve machining issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Continuously improve programs to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain product quality.
4. **Documentation and Maintenance:**
- Maintain detailed records of CNC programs and revisions.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and safety protocols.
5. **Collaboration and Support:**
- Work closely with engineers, machinists, and production staff to achieve manufacturing goals.
- Provide training and guidance on CNC programming and operation as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of CNC machines, tooling, and G-code/M-code programming.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of machining processes and materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Certification in CNC programming or machining.
- Experience with multi-axis machining centers.
- Familiarity with ERP systems for managing production workflows.
**Work Environment:**
- Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery and tools.
- Safety equipment required (e.g., safety glasses, steel-toed boots).
**Schedule:**
- Full-time position, with shifts based on production needs.
