Mancan Staffing is hiring for a prominent manufacturing facility in Wheeling, WV, specializing in the production of large industrial equipment. We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Mechanical Assemblers to join our team. If you have a strong mechanical background, are adept at assembling bearings and shaft sleeves, and possess expertise in disassembly techniques using gear pullers, torches, and ovens, we invite you to apply. This job includes the assembly and disassembly of large industrial pieces ranging from 800 lbs to 15,000 lbs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with bearings, shaft sleeves, and possess the ability to use gear pullers, torches, and ovens for disassembly processes.
Responsibilities:
• Assemble bearings and shaft sleeves onto large industrial pieces according to specifications.
• Utilize gear pullers, torches, and ovens for the efficient and safe disassembly of equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of assembly and disassembly tasks.
• Inspect components for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in assembling bearings and shaft sleeves.
Proficient in using gear pullers, torches, and ovens for disassembly processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, alternating between 7 am - 3:30 pm and 3:30 pm - 12 am every two weeks.
