Job Title: 1st Shift Automatic/Screw Machine Operator
**Description:**
As a 1st Shift Automatic Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of multi-spindle automatic screw machines to meet precise tolerances and finish requirements. This includes tasks such as loading/unloading, adjusting, and operating the machines.
**Qualifications:**
- Excellent attendance and a commitment to prioritizing safety.
- Ability to inspect, measure, and record quality checks to ensure adherence to standards.
- Meet or exceed production and quality requirements.
- Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
**Hours: Monday - Friday 6 AM - 2:30 PM
**Pay: BOE- $15.50-$16.50
**Education:**
- High school education/GED diploma equivalent preferred.
- Trade or vocational education is a plus.
**Physical Requirements, General Working Environment:**
- Work schedule of 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime based on department workload.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform heavy lifting and bending, and engage in repetitive motion.
- Knowledge of potential workplace hazards such as impact, crush, cut, and pinch-points.
- Work in a normal factory environment with seasonally fluctuating temperatures, dust, and noise.
