Mechanical Maintenance Technician

🔧 Maintenance Tech Position in Conneaut 🔧
Pay is $25-$30 an hour
Hours are Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm.
This will be a direct hire role for the right candidate!!
💼 Role and Responsibilities:
1. 🔍 Inspects plant equipment for defects, misalignment, wear, insufficient lubrication.
2. ⚡ Installs and repairs conduit, splices and insulates wires and cables.
3. 🧪 Analyzes circuits and wiring diagrams to design, test, service, install, and repair electronic devices.
4. 🛠️ Dismantles, cleans, repairs, replaces, and maintains mechanical and electrical equipment.
5. 🛠️ Builds and repairs jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies.
6. ⏲️ Minimizes production interruption during repairs.
7. ⚙️ Adjusts new equipment for proper operation.
8. ⚡ Repairs and adjusts electrical components.
9. 🛠️ Assembles and aligns gears, bearings, and shafts.
📚 **Qualifications:**
1. 🛠️ Ability to operate various tools and equipment.
2. 🛠️ Proficient in troubleshooting technical devices and processes.
3. 🚜 Ability to operate mobile and hoisting equipment.
4. 🛠️ Previous maintenance experience required.
5. 📜 Possess certifications in regulated trades (e.g., welding, hydraulics).
6. 🏗️ Possess a valid forklift license.
7. 💪 Ability to lift objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
📖 **Education:**
- 📚 Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
