**Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance Technician - Solenoid Valve & Air Accessories**
**Position Type:** Part Time shift is 6am-1:30pm or 9am-4:40
**Salary:** $13.00 per hour
**Job Description:**
Are you detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring products meet high-quality standards? Canfield Industries is seeking dedicated Quality Assurance Technicians to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in testing, inspecting, and repairing solenoid valve and air accessory materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods. You will contribute to the overall quality control process, ensuring our products meet the highest standards before they reach our customers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct testing, inspection, and repairs on solenoid valve and air accessory materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods based on priorities set by Scheduling & Production.
- Maintain accurate records of quantities inspected, failures, and defects.
- Adhere to Canfield Industries' personnel and quality policies and procedures.
- Interpret and follow supplied catalogs, drawings, standard operating procedures, instructions, and work orders.
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager and Maintenance personnel to address equipment performance issues.
- Communicate job-related problems and concerns with the Quality Manager.
- Operate various test equipment and machinery, including meters, gauges, power supplies, assembly/test fixtures, and more.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percent calculation.
- Strong reasoning ability to follow written, oral, and diagram instructions.
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, stand, reach, kneel, and perform hand-to-eye coordination tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
**Additional Requirements:**
- Interviews will be conducted for qualified candidates.
- Successful candidates must pass a drug testing screening.
**Work Environment:**
- Work schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6am to 1:30pm or 9:00 am to 4:30pm
- Breaks: Half-hour lunch
- Work environment: Exposure to humid conditions, vented fumes, and slight risk of electrical shock when inspecting parts, assemblies, and finished goods.
- Noise level: Generally quiet.
