Maintenance General

Mancan is working with a hotel in Millersburg seeking a groundskeeper and maintenance person. Hours are 8am-6pm four days per week, plus scheduled hours every other weekend. Days will vary. Pay is $15-$20 based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance of hotel grounds, including landscaping, pruning, mulching, mowing, and trash removal.
- Conduct basic building repairs and maintenance, including painting, minor carpentry, and HVAC filter replacements.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards throughout the property.
- Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks, such as snow removal or planting.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping and basic building maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems is required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of property appearance.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
