Location: Newbury, OH
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Rotating Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Wage Range: based on experience with advancement opportunities
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Counter Representative to join our team in Newbury, OH. The ideal candidate will process parts sales, maintain inventory, and ensure excellent customer service. This role requires organizational skills, self-motivation, and a strong commitment to improving departmental processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process parts sales for customers efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure all parts are accounted for, including bin locations and tags.
- Receive and stock merchandise efficiently, maintaining proper inventory systems.
- Use FIFO (First In, First Out) methods to ensure proper inventory flow.
- Identify and sell slow-moving inventory effectively.
- Maintain and organize the showroom, inventory areas, and facilities, including bathrooms and upstairs spaces.
- Perform facility maintenance checks as needed.
- Monitor and complete tasks from the Parts Department “To Do” document.
- Handle online sales through platforms like eBay, Craigslist, Facebook, and others.
- Ship and receive packages accurately and efficiently.
- Provide customer assistance over the phone and in person.
- Deliver or pick up parts or vehicles as required.
- Take initiative to improve departmental processes and procedures.
- Arrive on time, ready to perform duties with accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in parts sales or inventory management is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with inventory systems and online sales platforms.
- Ability to self-motivate and complete tasks independently.
- A valid driver’s license is required for pick-up and delivery duties.
