The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of forklifts, lift trucks, and various machinery, as well as basic plumbing, conveyor systems, overhead doors, and facility maintenance tasks such as painting and welding.
Key duties include routine maintenance of equipment, conducting repairs on conveyors and overhead doors, rack installation and floor repair, lighting system maintenance, and addressing rodent protection needs. The ideal candidate should possess attention to detail, good math skills, and be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Additionally, candidates must supply their own basic hand tools and successfully pass a drug test and background check to be considered for the role.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Must be able to stand/bend/twist as needed for 8 hour shift
Must have own tools
Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)
Electrical: 1 year (Required)
Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
