Breakfast Attendant

Mancan is working with a hotel in Walnut Creek seeking a breakfast attendant! This is a part time position with hours scheduled as needed, typically Wednesdays and every other weekend. Will also cover vacation time for full time staff. Pay is $12.50/hour.
As a breakfast attendant, your primary responsibility will be to provide a positive dining experience for guests by maintaining a clean and organized breakfast area, replenishing food and beverage items, and offering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive early to set up the breakfast area, ensuring all tables, chairs, and serving stations are clean and well-organized.
- Monitor and replenish breakfast items regularly to maintain a fresh and inviting display.
- Greet guests warmly as they enter the breakfast area, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Regularly clean and sanitize all surfaces in the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving utensils.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Clean conference room and lobby, assist housekeeping and laundry as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work early mornings and weekends as needed. Must be available to work holidays except Christmas Day.
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
