Deburring Technician**
**Position Overview:**
The Deburring Technician is responsible for finishing and refining manufactured parts by removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material. This role ensures parts meet precise specifications and quality standards for final assembly or delivery. This position also includes helping in other areas in the shop as well. This is a Team!!
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, or imperfections that require finishing.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as grinders, files, sanders, and deburring machines.
- Operate precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform cleaning, polishing, and surface finishing to achieve smooth, defect-free parts.
- Collaborate with quality control and production teams to identify and address defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good condition.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company procedures while working with machinery and materials.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in deburring, machining, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with small, delicate components.
- Proficiency with hand tools and precision measurement equipment.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and blueprints is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Capability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
**Work Environment:**
- The role may involve exposure to noise, dust, and industrial machinery.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
