Mancan is looking for a Surface Grinder for a Metal Stamping Company in Brunswick!
1st Shift
Monday-Friday
6am-3pm
$21+/hr Based on experience!
OT on Saturdays when available
The Surface Grinder will be responsible for setting up and operating grinding machines to produce precision parts. Key duties include maintaining a safe, organized work environment, running multiple machines as needed, and performing quality inspections. The role requires machining experience (conventional or CNC preferred), blueprint reading skills, and proficiency in using measuring equipment like micrometers and calipers. Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work with metric dimensions and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Requirements
Must be able to read blueprints
Must be comfortable lifting steel plates
Must be comfortable lifting 60+ lbs
Must be comfortable bending, twisting and standing for the duration of shift.
