Body Shop Technician

Mancan is working with a company in Millersburg seeking an experienced body shop technician. This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate based on attitude, attendance, and performance. Pay is $18-$20 per hour based on experience. Standard hours are Monday to Friday from 8-5 with the occasional Saturday as needed.
The Body Shop Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle body parts and exterior finishing. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of vehicle repair processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles to determine the extent of damage and required repairs.
- Provide accurate estimates for body repair costs and timeframes.
- Perform structural and non-structural repairs, including frame straightening, dent removal, and panel replacement.
- Repair or replace damaged body parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and industry standards for safety and quality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification from an accredited technical school or program in auto body repair preferred.
- Previous experience as a body shop technician or in a similar role.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and ability to work with precision.
- Capability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to fumes and noise.
