Mancan Temporary Employment Staffing Agency is looking for Mitsubishi CNC Grinder for a Hinckley, Ohio, Production Shop. 1st shift and pay will depend on experience.
Position Summary:
The Mitsubishi CNC Grinder Operator will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC grinding machinery to produce high-quality precision components. This role is crucial in ensuring that parts meet strict specifications and tolerances while maintaining efficiency and safety in the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
-Set up and operate the Mitsubishi CNC Grinder and associated machinery for production runs.
- Program CNC grinders based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, technical documents, and geometric dimensions/tolerances (GD&T) for accurate machining.
- Perform regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure parts meet required standards.
- Adjust machine settings as necessary to optimize performance and precision.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions, collaborating with the maintenance team when needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Document production activities, machine performance, and maintenance records.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant coursework is a plus.
- Proven experience as a CNC Grinder Operator, with specific experience on Mitsubishi equipment preferred.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T symbols.
- Familiarity with inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and quality control standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
