Mancan has teamed up with a plastics manufacturer in the Newton Falls Area! Join the team as a Die Setter/Mold Setter at our industry-leading plastics manufacturing company. This hands-on position is and involves working with production equipment. Please note that this is not a machinist role.
Job details:
• Newton Falls
• Pay ranges from $20-25 an hour depending on experience ($25 for 10+ years of exp)
• Temp to hire!!
Duties include:
• Assemble and disassemble equipment for die/mold setting
• Troubleshoot die/mold changing process
• Perform basic equipment setup, including thread sizes and metrics
• Execute product changes according to established procedures
• Set up and check auxiliary equipment
• Understand product material melting points and purging methods/temperatures
Qualifications include:
• Previous experience in plastics manufacturing (injection molding preferred, blow molding considered)
• Familiarity with equipment assembling and disassembling
• Knowledge of troubleshooting the die/mold changing process
• Understanding of basic equipment setup, including thread sizes and metrics
• Detail-oriented with basic computer knowledge and comprehensive math and reading skills
