An experienced Tool and Die Repair Person (Toolmaker) is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining dies, tools, jigs, and fixtures to support production. This includes disassembling and troubleshooting tooling, making adjustments, performing preventative maintenance, and working with blueprints to ensure precise fabrication. The role also involves using a variety of machinery and tools, such as grinders, lathes, and milling machines, to perform repairs, modifications, and part replacements, ensuring tooling is ready for efficient production operations.
Requirements:
Must have experience in Tool and Die Repair
Must be Mechanically Inclined
Must be able to read blueprints and operate hand/power tools
Must be able to work in a loud environment
Must be able to stand, bend and twist for duration of shift
