Canton Mancan is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our team for the 2nd shift. The STNAs will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to our residents, ensuring their well-being and safety. Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Possess a valid State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
Have a clean background and be able to pass a national background check.
Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide compassionate and high-quality care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
Vital Signs: Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
Mobility Assistance: Assist residents with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper techniques and equipment as necessary.
Medication Support: Assist with medication reminders and administration under the supervision of licensed nurses.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care activities and observations.
Patient Interaction: Communicate effectively and kindly with residents, families, and staff, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and prevent the spread of infections.
Safety and Comfort: Ensure residents' safety and comfort, addressing their physical and emotional needs.
Qualifications:
STNA Certification: Must possess a valid State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
Background Check: Clean background with the ability to pass a national background check.
COVID Vaccination: Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Compassion: Demonstrated empathy and compassion for residents' well-being.
Team Player: Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a healthcare team.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to provide accurate and thorough care.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Mobility: Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers as required.
