Shipping and Receiving Clerk

The Mt. Vernon Mancan office has partnered with a company in Sunbury who are looking for a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join their team. This is a temp to hire opportunity on 1st shift!
***MUST HAVE COMPUTER SKILLS & EXPERIENCE SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY!***
Job Duties/Skills:
-verify & keep record of incoming/outgoing shipments
-unpacking and examining incoming shipments while inspecting for shortages, damages, any problems, etc.
-delivers materials to correct departments
-determines most effective route for shipping method for materials by using correct knowledge of procedures, routes, and rates
-pack, seal, label and attach postage to prepare for shipping
-ability to use hand tools, power tools, or postage meter
-preparing documents such as invoices, work orders, bills of lading
-ability to communicate well with others, work with multiple priorities and/or people
-all other duties as necessary or asked
Knowledge/Education Requirements:
-HS Diploma or GED
-MUST be good with computers
-1 year of related experience in manufacturing shipping and receiving process
-Analytical problem solver
-Proficient computer skills including basic internet knowledge, Microsoft Outlook Email software, Microsoft Word & Excel, along with various online shipping programs including DHL, FedEx, and UPS
-ERP experience desired, but not required
