Mancan has teamed up with a local university in the Kanawha City area! We need GREAT people like you that want to grow & become part of a wonderful team! This established education institute is in need for a cashier for their cafeteria.
Pay is $12.50/hr. Hours vary, must be available for weekends.
Duties include:
Processing Payments: Handling cash, credit/debit card, checks, or electronic payments for purchases.
Operating a Cash Register: Scanning items, ensuring accurate pricing, and issuing receipts.
Handling Returns and Exchanges: Processing refunds, exchanges, or resolving discrepancies with transactions.
Balancing the Cash Drawer: Counting the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy.
Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, providing information on products or services, and resolving any complaints.
Bagging Items: Packing customer purchases into bags or assisting with packaging larger items.
Promotions and Discounts: Applying coupons, discounts, and membership points during transactions.
Maintaining a Clean Workspace: Keeping the checkout area tidy, organizing receipts, and stocking nearby items like bags and pens.
You must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings!
