Pulverizer Operator

An Akron manufacturing company is seeking a Pulverizer Operator to join the team!
The hours will be Monday through Thursday, 6:00AM to 4:00PM with some overtime on Fridays. Rate of pay is $18/hr.
Responsibilities and duties
- Follow formulation, work order instructions, and setup parameters sheet
- Set up and start all pulverizers
- Ensure the correct materials are being processed
- Clean equipment when needed
- Refers issues/problems to lead/supervisor person(s)
- Operates equipment safely and reads temperature controls
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete production records including production rates, amounts produced, set up, and downtime incurred.
- Responsible for starting up and obtaining quality finished products
- Responsible for preparation of packaging and labeling finished products
- Trouble shoot pulverize machine when needed
- Uses required company instruments or tools such as wrenches, socket sets, "C" clamps, and screwdrivers
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs. and roll 300 lb. drums
- Maintain good housekeeping practices to ensure the area is clean at all time
- Perform other related duties as required (choppers & post blenders)
Must be willing to take a respirator test, drug test and get a background check.
Must have a high school diploma or GED and must be able to pass and National Background Check and Drug Screening. Must be clean shaven.
