CNC Operator

A CNC Operator (Computer Numerically Controlled Operator)is needed in the Youngstown area, to set up and operate machinery required to produce customer products. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety guidelines are essential. This is a dayshift position from 7:30am to 4pm. Pays starts at $15.00 and goes up once you learn the machine.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Receive job assignments from the supervisor and verify materials for correctness
• Prepare and operate CNC machines, ensuring they are ready for production
• Load raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Continuously inspect job specifications and collect production samples as required
• Conduct test runs to verify machine outputs meet specifications
• Oversee machine execution, making necessary adjustments for optimal results
• Packaging completed product for delivery
• Maintaining a clean working environment
• Other miscellaneous general labor jobs
• Observing all company policies, safety rules and regulations
To be successful in this position candidates should meet the following requirements:
• Skill in operating CNC machinery and precision measurement tools
• Basic understanding of computers
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision
• Detail orientated
