Engineering Technician

Direct hire opportunity for a local company looking to hire local (within 30 mile radius from Coshocton) for a skilled and motivated Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and contribute to operational excellence.
Responsibilities include:
developing cost-effective manufacturing methods, implementing cost reduction proposals, and improving worker and equipment efficiency.
Key duties:
involve managing projects for operational improvement, evaluating variances to standards, designing workplace layouts, and supporting continuous improvement using Lean and 6S principles.
Key performance:
measures include product development cycle time, cost, Six Sigma for Engineering, customer satisfaction, and first-pass yield.
Desired qualifications include:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, proficiency in technical drawings and documentation, computer skills (AutoCAD, Microsoft, Adobe), and at least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing engineering environment. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
