Maintenance Technician

Middlefield company seeking skilled maintenance technician on first shift. This position is Monday through Friday from 7am until 3pm pay is based on experience
Job Summary: Responsible for a wide variety of general building maintenance, maintaining site services, and manufacturing equipment repairs and services.
Primary Functions:
• Completes projects with minimal guidance showing a proactive attitude to minimizing equipment down time and lost production capability.
• Troubleshoots presses/machines in operation. Dismantles and examines to gain access to and remove defective parts. Adjusts, repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Installs new or repairs/modifies hydraulic and pneumatic equipment as needed.
• Researches supplies, parts and tools needed to complete work orders
• Contributes to upkeep and updating of required paperwork such as records, maintenance logs, documents, manuals, drawings, PM logs, etc.
• Follows applicable Safety, Health and Environmental rules and guidelines while performing job duties.
Requirements/Training:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiar with injection molding machines: Arburg, Engel, Desma, Van Dorn
• Able to read and understand a schematic
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent organizational skills and able to multi task
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. from the floor.
