We are actively seeking diligent and dependable janitors to join the university’s facilities team, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Position Overview:
As a janitor with our partnering university, you'll play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the academic facilities. Your dedication will contribute to a safe and pleasant environment conducive to learning and professional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily cleaning of restrooms and common areas.
Restocking restroom supplies as necessary.
Emptying and cleaning waste containers and disposing of waste in designated areas.
Reporting any major maintenance needs or safety hazards to supervisory staff.
Adhering to the university’s safety and health guidelines.
Qualifications:
Previous janitorial or cleaning experience.
Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Must complete company-specific forms in the Mancan office.
Must pass all pre-employment screening.
Driver's license is preferred.
Monday-Friday 6am to 2:30pm
$12/hr
