A steel company in Mogadore is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with customers to provide accurate pricing, status updates on services, and delivery schedules. Your responsibilities will include following up on quotes and orders, resolving customer issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also need to stay informed about our products, services, and procedures, and have the ability to interpret and dimension customer drawings and data. The role involves maintaining and updating customer files, as well as inputting new customer information. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Must have CAD drawing experience.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
$35,000 - $38,000 (Based on experience)
Customer Sales Representative Specific Duties:
1) Expeditor
• Manage the Hit List and Late List for BICO.
• Manage the Burn Programs needed for the shop.
• Coordinate with Plant Superintendent the machine schedules in conjunction with customer demand and scheduled ship dates. Communicate with other subsidiaries machine capacity, back-log concerns, and daily manufacturing status.
2) Sales Prospecting
• Investigate Leads for Outside Sale.
• Investigate Personal Leads through networking.
• Follow Up on recent quotes.
• Work with Outside Sales on territories and areas to focus on.
3) Quality and Inspection
• Manage Inspection reports per our customer’s requirements.
• Make spot inspections on the floor to help maintain good quality.
• Back up Stevie for shop floor inspections in times of need.
• NCN Follow up keeping Outside Sales informed, Inside Sales informed and the Customer informed as decided by the BICO Team.
4) Inside Sales
• Be an integral part of the BICO Inside sales force by working closely with the entire inside sales team located at the BICO Akron facility.
• Perform inside sales duties outlined in process maps (PM-05 & PM-11), managing local accounts to be determined by management. This would include the following of quotes to determine if, as a company, we are estimating them in a manner that is best for our organizations. Making calls to customers in order to see if we are meeting their requirements and may be able to offer additional services.
5) Project Manager
• Manage Special Projects that need extra attention with data, reporting, timing, and customer reporting.
6) Outside Sales
• Work with Outside Sales Employees as needed to visit current and new customers.
