An Akron manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Henschel Mixing Operator to join the team!
The hours will be Monday through Thursday, 6a-4p with some overtime on Fridays. Rate of pay is $19/hr.
The Henschel Mixing Operator is responsible for operating and overseeing the Henschel mixing equipment to efficiently blend and prepare materials according to production specifications. This role involves monitoring equipment performance, adjusting settings, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The Henschel Mixing Operator plays a vital role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Henschel mixing equipment to blend and prepare materials accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor equipment operation, making necessary adjustments to settings and controls as required.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of the blended materials, conducting periodic quality checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work process.
- Collaborate with production team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the maintenance team.
- Record and maintain accurate production data and documentation.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations, including health and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating mixing equipment, preferably Henschel mixers, is a plus.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and perform manual labor as required.
- Commitment to safety and a clean work environment.
Must have a high school diploma or GED and must be able to pass and National Background Check and Drug Screening. Must be clean shaven.
