A locally owned manufacturing company in Sugarcreek, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Controller for a direct hire opportunity. This key position will oversee all accounting records and lead the production of comprehensive financial reports.
Key Requirements:
• Proven experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large data sets with meticulous attention to detail.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles and solid business acumen.
• Results-driven, self-motivated, and adaptable to shifting priorities and tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Oversee accounts payable and ensure timely processing.
• Manage accounts receivable, maintaining up-to-date customer accounts.
• Perform daily cash management and ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Conduct end-of-month reconciliations to finalize financial statements.
• Audit financial processes and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and refine company budgets, ensuring alignment of expenses with projected revenue.
• Continuously improve and develop accounting processes.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly and ad-hoc financial reports.
• Generate detailed financial statements for review and strategic planning.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience
