Maintenance Mechanic

A dynamic and growing company is in need of a skilled Mechanic to join their team.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform disassembly, rebuilds, and repairs in accordance with job requirements.
Ensure understanding and compliance with all job requirements.
Skillfully and safely use mechanical tools and equipment.
Maintain accurate job time reporting.
Follow established repair procedures and work instructions.
Collaborate effectively with the Shop Superintendent, taking direction as needed.
Report any nonconforming products to the Shop Superintendent.
Alert the Shop Superintendent to any concerns that may affect delivery timelines.
Conduct thorough inspections of parts and products.
Maintain meticulous records, following documented procedures and work instructions.
Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment.
Ensure safe operation of all equipment.
Comply with workplace policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as requested.
Skill Requirements:
Strong mechanical abilities.
Willingness to obtain certification as a Fork Truck Operator.
Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a factory/shop floor environment, automotive, or heavy equipment repair (preferred).
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (vocational school preferred).
Work Schedule:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Half-hour lunch break.
Compensation:
Pay is based on experience, ranging from $16 to $20 per hour.
