CNC Machinist

Local Lexington Company looking for an experience 1st shift SWISS Machinist.
Must have experience. Must Interview with Customer. Pay based on experience
Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:30pm Saturday 6:00am-11:00AM
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Use a variety of power tools and hand tools to assemble and disassemble components
- Program and adjust Fanuc controls to ensure proper machine operation
- Inspect finished products using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other measuring tools
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
- Proficient in operating CNC machines and using various tools
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and programming
- Familiarity with plastics injection molding is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills for machine programming and documentation
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of bore gauges for precision measurements
