WELDERS urgently needed for rapidly expanding Ashtabula county company. All positions are long term, will be temp-to-hire and are 1st shift working from 8am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday. Over time is offered as needed. Pay is based on experience.
Experience and Qualifications
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience in MIG and/or TIG welding in a manufacturing setting.
• A thorough knowledge of welding techniques, material characteristics, and structural fundamentals.
• Ability to use measuring devices accurately (ruler, square, templates, gauges, etc.)
• Must have solid knowledge of blueprint reading and shop math.
• Must be able to lift up to 50-pounds repetitively as well as frequent twisting and bending to meet fast paced work demands
• Must be able to stand in one place for an extended period of time;
• Knowledge of Aluminum/Sheet metal
• Must be reliable, and have good attendance.
• Capable of working in a team environment.
