Service Technician

HVAC/Maintenance Technician in a reputable Ashtabula company. This is a first shift role starting at 7:45am until finished. Pay is based upon experience. This will be a direct hire role!
• Must hold EPA’s section 608 Certification
• Knowledge of HVAC standards, codes and protocols
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills (electrical and mechanical) as it pertains to HVAC equipment
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Must be able to pass drug & alcohol screening
• Perform preventative maintenance on furnaces, air conditioners and indoor air quality equipment. Promote sale of maintenance, repairs, add-ons and new equipment to customers.
• Diagnose problems on residential and light commercial HVAC systems, make recommendations
• Must have basic electrical knowledge including wiring and safety precautions.
• Experience in proper assembly of pipe to include copper, black iron, PVC. Must include soldering, brazing and threading ability.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, volt/amp meters, continuity etc.
• Technician must fill out service orders in full for each customer name, address, phone numbers and what was done for service provided. Customer or their representative must sign service order form when work is completed; (especially when warranty work has been performed.)
